I Think its only suffice

Let me start off my saying I(we) will always miss Tim Russert, I am a political junkie largely because of him and I know alot of people can attest to that. He truly was a one of a kind and to this day Sunday's are not the same without him, as he always used to say "If its Sunday, it's Meet The Press" He truly will and still is missed.

Now to the point of this blog.

So I come to find out that Sarah Palin was picked as VP on the account that someone made a blog about it, whether it was solely based on that nobody will ever know, but then again with Palin's lack of experience, and her extremest stance on social issues...it just might have been a decision based on a blog. Food for thought, my theory is I doubt she would have been picked is Tim was still around and she had to meet the press. But a Giant like Tim, a figure like that who could change the direction of politics, without even being a politician, but being able to do it as he did on the basis of finding Truth.

So who could fill his shoes?

I don't think anyone can, and I don't think anyone should try to fill them. Which leads to why Contessa would be a perfect fit. I know what you're probably thinking and NO! not just because she a is woman and having that be the only reason. When it comes to grilling, and cutting through spin, Contessa is like like a laser just like Tim. And because she is a woman, we won't be automatically be triggered in our minds to say she it trying to be like Tim. She will be able to create her own path with so much more ease, if that makes any sense...don't mean to offend if you feel offended. So as much as I like Brokaw, he is kinda getting up there when it comes to age, and there needs to be new blood. Which lead me to Contessa. She is young, smart, funny, beautiful, articulate, a political junkie, impartial...which really is key. I figure since "Verdict with Dan Abrams" is no longer there, she is probably looking for a new gig.

I'm an Obama all the way fan and she even grills them. and i'm proud of that

And NBC has been taking alot of heat as of late but she stays impartial, going for the facts, cutting through the spin. I'll be posting more clips if I can find any.
